Developmental delay and disabilities

There are children who have an atypical development path at a certain point in their lives, when they require support from both parents and specialists, as medical and psychological treatment appropriate to the child's problem is necessary.

1. Delay in development and disabilities

The announcement of illness or disability is a trauma that can give rise to violent and contradictory feelings, periods of depression, sadness or a phase of acceptance, when parents find in them the resources to invest and help the child. Sometimes children are the ones who have a painful perception of difference from others, through sadness, behavior disorders and aggression.

2. Hyperactivity and/or attention deficit disorder in children and adolescents - ADHD

The treatment involves a multimodal intervention and consists of the following aspects:

- education of children and parents regarding diagnosis and treatment

- behavioral management techniques

- medication

- support and intervention in the school environment

3. Autistic spectrum disorder in children and adolescents - TSA

It involves communication, behavioral and social interaction difficulties that affect important aspects of life: school, work, family, interpersonal relationships.

4. Anxiety disorders in children and adolescents

They are the most common and can manifest in various forms:
